Once again...
Posted by: Kernel86 on Sunday, January 23, 2022 - 14:00 CST
Decided it's time to once again post a new note letting everyone know that the site is not dead, though obviously it's been stalled for awhile due to life. I am still here if anyone needs any information, feel free to contact me!

Some recent movements around here, a shelf of receivers....

Sylvania ECG Semiconductors 1979 Master Replacement Guide
Posted by: Kernel86 on Friday, November 20, 2020 - 19:40 CST
I've added a scan of the the Sylvania ECG Semiconductors 1979 Master Replacement Guide. This can be used to convert Sylvania part numbers (and others) to ECG/NTE part numbers. It can also be used to cross reference ECG/NTE part numbers back to other manufacturers, if you're really bored that is. ;)

You can download directly it here: Sylvania ECG Semiconductors 1979 Master Replacement Guide ECG212J_NoOCRRaw.pdf.

It's also available for online viewing at archive.org.

Just an Update....
Posted by: Kernel86 on Thursday, January 24, 2019 - 12:04 CST
Yes we're still alive, in case anyone was wondering!

I just wanted to make a quick note that I do have quite a bit of service information available that (still) haven't been processed for the site. This includes a large collection of already scanned manuals and plenty that haven't yet been scanned. So if you're looking for a service manual for Sylvania stereo equipment, or even tvs from the '70s and earlier, give me a shout and I might be able to help you out!

*Some of these are listed via the old Service Manuals link on the left, but a lot of them aren't.
